When you eat pickle with any meal then it increases the sensitivity of our taste buds and many of us like spicy Green Chilly Pickle. Today we will prepare Green Chilly Pickle in Mustard.
Ingredients for Green Chilly Pickle
Green chillies - 500 grams
Fennel seeds – 1/3 cup grind roughly
Rie/black mustard seeds – 1/3 cup grind roughly
Salt – 1 tsp or as per taste
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Refined oil – 1 tbsp
How to make Green Chilly Pickle
We use long and riped green chillies to make this pickle. Wash the chillies properly and boil in water for five minutes. Drain out all the water and dry the chillies for some times till cool down. break of their stems and Cut the Chillies length wise so that they are stuck on one side.
Put fennel seeds, rie or mustard seeds, turmeric powder, salt and oil in bowl or plate and mix these ingredients well . Pick one chilly at a time, take some portion of mixed ingredients and fill it in the chilly then keep on a plate. Similarly, fill all chillies with mixed ingredients.
You can put all stuffed chillies in any bowl or jar and keep it in the room temperature for two days. Stir the pickle twice everyday with a dry and clean spoon. After two days your mouth watering Green Chilly Pickle is ready.
Take out the pickle whenever you want to eat it. You can use this pickle for long up to one month.
